Moving on UP!!!

Twelve games have passed, LFC is sitting in 9th place with 16 points in the BPL league (could have been 5th with 18 points if we had won). I am truly happy with the four straight wins including the one that LFC gunned down Chelsea, but the only thing that still bugs me is that how come Roy Hodgson still approaches games with very defensive mode? We could have won the match against Wigan on Wednesday if he had made a more attacking approach and offensive instructions to the players. Instead of putting in a more attacking formation when you are tied at 1-1, our dear Mr Hudgson when on and became even more defensive by introducing another defensive midfielder (C. Poulsen) and Jonjo Shelvey, he could have just played Jovanovic or Ngog for more attacking mode.

In the first place the whole set up was suppose to be the same team that beat Chealsea on Sunday but what I saw was the same team with no sense of winning but to come out with a draw from the start. The tactics was to stay deep and defense deep, maybe catch Wigan on a counter attack which we did in the 7th minutes where F.Torres scored, but right after that there where no offensive play at all. If there are no link or good passes to F.Torres, how on earth is the world best striker going to score goals for the club? Playing R. Meireles when he is ill was also a bad idea, why didn't he choose or just play players that are healthy?

Now and then we still read romours that Pepe Reina and F. Torres wants out by January because they are not happy with how Hodgson is playing the team. Can we blame the players for saying those things? We are Liverpool FC, a winning mentality was always in the club up bringing since it was started in 1892. All the previous managers have or came into the club to win trophies and titles, not just be contented with mid table standings. Why can't Hodgson just get it into his head that he is now the manager of LFC and not just any other normal teams in the BPL. All of us the fan are just hoping for more productive, positive and attacking play tactically form Hodgson.

I am now just hoping that by Sunday, Hodgson will finally see the light at the end of the tunnel and start playing more attacking and positive football by winning the match against Stoke (away). If not, personally I think he should go, let someone that understand the history of Liverpool FC and how it should be managed the Liverpool FC way.

I am not sure how far my blog travels to, but I sincerely hope that the management of NESV, Mr John W Henry, LFC or Mr Hodgson will be able to reads this as this is from a true loyal LFC fan.

COME ON YOU REDS!!!! YNWA!!!

When we walk through the storm, Hold your head up high and don't be afraid of the dark, At the end of the storm there's a golden sky and the sweet silver song of the lark, Walk on through the wind, Walk on through the rain, Though your dreams be tossed and blown, Walk on , Walk on with hopes in our heart, And you never walk alone, You never walk alone!!!
