Goodbye 42, Hello 43!!
By the time I post this blog. I would have just turn 43. Time do pass really fast, I just notice that my eldest niece is already 14 years old and has her own Fb account and 1 of my loyal client has been following me for more than 16 years.
You know that you are getting there when your love ones tells you " dear you have a lot of grey hair on you, better dye your hair soon". Many tell me that age is just a number, as long as you think young, you will always be young. To myself, I do not feel old but physically I am not what I used to be. I would be able to stay up late or wake up in the wee hours of the morning to watch Liverpool FC matches but now my body would rather stay in bed and only wake up after the match is over.
Looking at some of my former school mates, I can say that I am still in a pretty good shape. I wonder if working as a Hairstylist did make a difference or was it the way I was brought up in the fashion industries where everyone I met were beautiful looking (my mom and brother are fashion designers). I just wouldn't want to have a 'Pot Belly' sticking out on my clients head when I am cutting his/her hair.
I am very much a crazy Liverpool FC fan, still hoping they would win the EPL title again very soon. I would definitely be there at Anfield watching the team aloft the EPL trophy when they win the league. What an experience it would be.
42 years have passed and with all the ups and downs that I have been through, it is a trip that I can say awesome. The last 4 years have been very special to me, as I am blessed with a person that not only understands me but also guided me to the right path in life, she is my BFF, Soul mate and my Fiance, Denise Ng.
I know now that age is not only a number that's tell how old you are but also tells you how much you have mature to become a better person in life. Life is short, so live life to your fullest.
