NEW SEASON, NEW HOPE..






As you footies know, the new English Premier League has just started 2 weeks ago. Not surprisingly the newly promoted teams and some smaller teams are making headline for starting with a bang.

Some of the top teams are not doing well after the first two games not to mention any names.. but as we all know this is not a Sprint but a marathon over 38 matches. At the moment nothing is for certain that which team will actually win the league as what I see it will be a close match between the top 8 teams from last season.

Many would actually ask, how would LFC fare this season? To me I will say in the top 4 and a place in the Champions League for 2013/14 season. By looking at the way LFC is playing under Brendon Rogers, I must say LFC do look impressive with all the passing movement but I still think we do need a natural goal scorer. Not saying that L. Suarez is not good but to me he need a player to help hi take the pressure off his shoulders. I always though A. Carroll is a good player but I just don't understand why both the old and new manager will not play him with Suarez as I did see good things coming when he is playing.

I always believe the best way to defense is to attack, playing a 4-3-3 system might be a little too dependent on our midfield players, but if we can switch from a 4-3-3 to a 4-4-2 meaning one of our midfielders can become a back up strikers anytime of play will make LFC far more dangerous. Well its easy to say as we are not there and not the manager.

The new signings of J. Allen has started nicely with the team and have show great potential but as for Borini, he sometime do fade off a little, maybe he still needs more time. Now I am actually quite excited to see what Assaidi and Sahin play. Both comes with impressive credentials. Hopefully they will get a chance to show us LFC fans from all over the world what they are capable of when we play Arsenal on the 2nd of September.

There are always many speculations on the internet about who is leaving the team and who is joining but to be I only believe it when I read it from the official website. Now with 31st August is nearing, we just need to stay calm and see what the owners and the manager will do in the transfer market. Few more new players or none at all? 

Its been hard for most of us who support LFC, for not really able to challenge the top teams for the title for so many years. I do see LFC will and win the much awaited title in two years time with the full support from the owners and of course the fans. So as a die hard LFC fan, I will be there when it happens but for the time being, I will still be singing and chanting when the team plays on the weekends with hopes in my heart..

I know that the past 5 weeks have not been easy on any of Liverpool FC's fans to endure. The team has not really played all that well, things in the boardroom also have not been kind. Rumours of businessmen from China, Hong Kong, another Americans and Arabian Royalty buying over the club has just passed and gone. Come first week of October, we might have a new owner at LFC and all us fans really hope that this time it will happen once an for all. With RBS forcing sale on the club I should think by then there will be more bids from potential buyers.
